19 staff work at Switzerland's largest emergency services control centre; a further 14 contingency workstations can be put into operation to boost capacity in the short term. The whole room is air conditioned with Cool-Top. The control centre handles emergency calls on 118 for the canton of Zurich and on 144 for the cantons of Schaffhausen, Schwyz and Zurich.
