school building jungholzstrasse, zurich oerlikon

During the renovation of the school building at Jungholzstrasse 43, the air quality was specifically improved in addition to the air conditioning. As the CO2 levels in the classrooms were previously well above the recommended limits, an intelligent combined ventilation system was installed.

The air is fed into the rooms via the corridors, eliminating the need for complex horizontal ventilation ducts. This solution reduces installation costs and enables space-saving retrofitting during ongoing operations.

At the heart of the system is the CO2-controlled connector fan, which automatically adjusts the fresh air supply to the actual demand. The integrated IQ-CO2 room controller continuously measures the CO2 content in ppm and controls the air volume continuously.
