centre national d´incendie et de secours (cnis), luxembourg

Luxembourg has reorganised its blue light institutions, which are scattered throughout the city, and merged them into the joint new rescue centre CNIS. The Grand Ducal Rescue Corps, the Fire and Rescue Centre, the Emergency Call Centre and the National Fire and Rescue School are now united there. It is one of the largest fire and rescue centres in the world. The 24/7 manned control centre is the heart of the main building. This is where all the country´s emergency calls come in. It is equipped with 10 D-Com control centre desks, 20 emergency interrogation stations and various other conference desks, for example for the staff room.
