Going by the number of listed companies the NASDAQ index in the USA is, at the same time, both the biggest and longest-standing electronic stock exchange. It was a great pleasure for the Erich Keller AG team, together with the American team of HOK Architects, to develop a climate-controlled custom-built dealing desk based on the F-Com model. The dealing desk, awarded Greenguard Gold, has been adapted to meet LEED standards and is a perfect fit for the environmentally-minded philosophy of the NASDAQ exchange, including the PEFC-certified wooden construction components and the recycled PET accoustic panelling fitted. To support the building´s HVAC system the desk has an integrated Cool-Top 25 cooling system, which makes a substantial contribution to creating a stable temperature and a healthy, comfortable room climate without a draught. The state-of-the-art height-adjustable desk system, the most advanced available commercially, offers each dealer a sitting/standing workstation.
