Around 70 model F-Com trading workstations, with fully integrated Cool-Top CT15 desk air conditioning systems are in use at UBS Europe SE in Frankfurt. The trader desks feature electric height adjustment which meets EN527-1:2011 requirements in every respect. The complete IT technology is located in the desk´s technical space and in the cable trough below the worktop. Easy access to this cable tray is ensured by removable service panels integrated into the worktops. The sides panels of the rows of tables were rounded off at the top to create an attractive design and have integrated LED light fields. This gives the trading room an impressive and individual design factor. In addition to the rapid implementation of the project, two particular challenges were assembling the new trader desks while trading operations were ongoing, and the hydraulic installation required to connect the Cool-Top cooling units to the building´s water supply.
