To ensure that the sales premises can continue to live up to this motto of the Mundwiler Studio even after 30 years, the owners of the traditional shop decided to carry out a comprehensive renovation of the premises. With the same passion for craftsmanship, Erich Keller AG was able to realise this exclusive conversion, from the initial interior design, through the sensitive choice of materials, to the production. The extensive shop area of the listed building presented a challenge.
The wall panelling in genuine nubuck leather with its velvety surface provides a noble, restrained setting for sparkling unique items. The clever positioning of warm smoked glass mirrors visually enlarges the room and allows the long wall display case to present itself throughout the room.
A simple, reduced furnishing with selected materials such as burnished brass, genuine leather and walnut wood, linked together in an unusual yet beautifully shaped way, underlines the exclusivity of the room.
At the centre of the space is a piece of furniture designed especially for this room, which catches everyone´s eye.
At this multifunctional display counter with extendable presentation tables and leather stools, different consultant positions can be selected as required. Customers are served individually, sitting or standing, according to their needs. Because in the House of Manufactures, one should not feel like a customer - but like a guest!
