Sustainability
Erich Keller takes responsibility for the environment, its employees, its products and the people who work with them. Not only since sustainability became a market term, but for many years as part of how the company is run. Our environmental management has been certified to ISO 14001 since 1997. We document our environmental performance annually, prepare a corporate CO₂ balance in line with recognised standards and invest continuously in resource-efficient production, durable products and social integration.
Responsibility begins in everyday work
At Erich Keller, sustainability shows in many concrete decisions: in materials, energy, water, finishes, waste, suppliers, occupational safety, training and social responsibility.
Our products are meant to work for a long time. Our processes are measured and improved. Our environmental performance is documented and externally audited. The principle applies: reducing our own impact takes precedence over offsetting, as far as this is possible and economically reasonable.
Environmentally responsible
We reduce resource consumption where we have direct influence: in production, in energy, water, waste, emissions and materials. ISO 14001 has provided the systematic basis for this since 1997.
Socially rooted
We train apprentices, create jobs for people with disabilities and work with social partners such as Valida. At Erich Keller, responsibility also shows in how we treat people – within our own operation and beyond.
Economically long-term
Sustainability is part of our competitiveness. Durable products, traceable key figures, stable processes and responsible supply chains create value – for customers, buildings, users and Erich Keller.
Sustainability remains work in progress
We have achieved a great deal. And we know: sustainability is never finished. Materials, technologies, customer expectations, legal requirements and climate targets keep developing.
That is why we measure our progress, review our processes and set new goals – where the impact is greatest.
