Talky Village gives open office floors a movable structure. Individual modules can be freely combined, rearranged and adapted to changing uses. The result is not a fixed spatial programme but a working landscape that keeps developing.

Talky Village creates spaces that move with teams, tasks and uses. Changes can be made without conventional refurbishment.
A movable investment
Talky Village shifts part of the fixed tenant fit-out into mobile room modules. The investment therefore stays movable and adaptable.
People-centred spaces
Talky Village creates choices in the open plan: for focus, exchange, retreat and encounter. This creates working landscapes that support people in their daily work.
Long-term reuse
Talky Village is designed for reuse. Modules can be moved, adapted, extended or put to further use at a new location. The basic fit-out stays lean, the building services simpler, the use of materials more controlled.
Sustainable manufacturing
Talky is manufactured in Switzerland, consists of 45 % recycled material and is 95 % recyclable. The result is a system that conserves resources – in production, in reconfiguration and across the entire life cycle.
From the first design to Talky Village
Stephan Hürlemann
Stephan Hürlemann is a Swiss architect and designer with his own studio in Zurich. His work combines architecture, product design and spatial strategy. At its heart is the question of how spaces, furniture and systems can make everyday work simpler, more pleasant and more meaningful.
The Talky story
When Hürlemann was planning his own company headquarters with a dynamic working environment in 2017, he found no suitable solution on the market. What he was looking for was not an ordinary phone booth but a movable spatial element: acoustically effective, comfortable inside, usable outside and formally restrained enough to become part of the architecture.
Talky grew out of this idea. Erich Keller recognised the potential and developed a new product family for modern office environments together with Stephan Hürlemann. Hürlemann’s clarity of design met Erich Keller’s experience in interior fit-out, materials, manufacturing and climate technology. Talky was launched in 2021.
With Talky Nook, Talky Connect and Talky Add-Ons the idea was taken further. The single phone booth became a modular system for entire office landscapes: a movable micro-architecture that combines retreat, alcoves, zoning and functional add-ons.
