3. Which data we process

We process personal data when you visit our website, contact us or apply to us. This includes in particular technical usage data, contact details, information from forms and application documents.

We process personal data only for the purposes stated in each case and only to the extent necessary for the operation and security of our website, the handling of enquiries, the conduct of application procedures as well as for analysis and optimisation.

The Swiss Data Protection Act (DPA) and, where applicable, the General Data Protection Regulation of the European Union (GDPR) apply.

4. Hosting and access data

Our website is operated by the following provider:

Cloudflare Germany GmbH (Rosental 7, c/o Mindspace, 80331 Munich, Germany) and Cloudflare, Inc. (101 Townsend St, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA).

When the website is accessed, the IP address, date and time of access, content accessed as well as details about the browser and device may in particular be processed. This data serves technical operation, security and error analysis.

Insofar as the GDPR is applicable, this processing takes place on the basis of our legitimate interest in the secure and reliable operation of the website pursuant to Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.

5. Contact forms and HubSpot

We use HubSpot for contact and enquiry forms as well as for managing and processing contacts.

When you complete a form, we process the details you enter as well as the technically necessary connection data. We use this data to handle your enquiry and to conduct the related communication.

Insofar as the GDPR is applicable, this processing takes place, depending on the nature of the enquiry, for the performance of pre-contractual or contractual measures pursuant to Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR or on the basis of our legitimate interest in handling business enquiries pursuant to Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.

HubSpot is additionally used to analyse website usage. Non-essential analysis and tracking functions are activated in accordance with your selection in the consent banner.

When HubSpot is used, personal data may also be processed outside Switzerland and the European Economic Area, in particular in the USA. For this purpose HubSpot uses the applicable legal safeguards, in particular recognised data protection frameworks and standard contractual clauses.

6. Applications with Dualoo

For online applications we use the recruiting platform Dualoo from Dualoo AG, Rietbergstrasse 37, CH-9403 Goldach.

If you apply via Dualoo, we process the data you enter and the documents you upload in order to conduct the application procedure. This may include contact details, CV, references, further application documents as well as the communication relating to your application.

Insofar as the GDPR is applicable, the processing takes place in particular for the performance of pre-contractual measures pursuant to Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR.

If no employment relationship comes about, we delete the application data once the application procedure has been concluded.

7. Cookies and consent management

Our website uses cookies and comparable technologies. Technically necessary technologies serve the operation and security of the website and may be used without consent insofar as this is legally permissible.

Analysis and tracking technologies are used in accordance with your selection in the consent banner. You can change or withdraw a consent you have given at any time with effect for the future.

8. Google Analytics 4 and Google Tag Manager

We use Google Analytics 4 (GA4) to understand how our website is used. Information about page views, interactions, browser, device as well as technical identifiers may be processed in this context.

The Google Tag Manager (GTM) serves the technical administration and control of the tags and services used on the website.

Google Analytics and the related non-essential analysis functions are used in accordance with your selection in the consent banner. Insofar as the GDPR is applicable and consent is required, the processing takes place on the basis of Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR.

When Google services are used, personal data may be processed outside Switzerland and the European Economic Area, in particular in the USA. The applicable legal safeguards are used for such transfers.

9. Map display

We use OpenFreeMap to display maps. The map display is based on technologies from OpenMapTiles and map data from OpenStreetMap.

When the maps are retrieved, a technical connection to the map service is established. Technically necessary connection data is transmitted in the process. According to its own statements, OpenFreeMap does not use cookies or tracking technologies and does not store IP addresses in regular operation. In the event of security incidents, IP addresses may be logged temporarily.

We do not use the map display for our own tracking or for personalised advertising.

Insofar as the GDPR is applicable, the integration takes place on the basis of our legitimate interest in a comprehensible geographical presentation of our locations and content pursuant to Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.

10. Recipients and transfer of data abroad

We only pass on personal data insofar as this is necessary for the purposes stated in this privacy policy. Recipients may in particular be hosting and IT service providers, providers of analysis and CRM systems, recruiting platforms as well as providers of embedded content.

Personal data may be processed in particular in Switzerland, in the European Union or the European Economic Area and in the USA.

If a transfer takes place to a country without a legally recognised adequate level of data protection, we put the necessary safeguards in place. These may include standard contractual clauses or applicable data protection frameworks.

11. Retention

We store personal data only for as long as this is necessary for the respective purpose or as long as statutory retention obligations exist.

The data is subsequently deleted or anonymised, insofar as there are no statutory or other legitimate reasons for further retention.

The arrangement described in section 6 applies to application data.

12. Your rights

Within the framework of applicable data protection law you have in particular the right to request information about the personal data we process and to have incorrect data corrected.

Where the legal requirements are met, you can also request the deletion or restriction of processing, object to the processing and request the release of certain personal data in a transferable format.
