In the centrally located Biel Regional Prison, 23 well-trained staff members ensure the care and operation of over 40 admitted persons who are in pre-trial or security detention. Access control (ZUKO) to the regional prison and video surveillance (CCTV) of the various zones are carried out in the modernised security centre. This provides additional security in the detention facility. The two height-adjustable control centre desks, model L-Com, are adapted to the constantly changing requirements of a modern security centre and provide highest ergonomic comfort.
