The top floor of the new police building offers space and the necessary room height for the secure area of the operations centre. With its 24-hour operation, it controls the emergency operations and the emergency forces involved in them. It is a state-of-the-art installation that is equipped with various information technology and communication systems. Ergonomic D-Com sit-stand workstations as well as several clearly arranged monitor walls with large-screen displays ensure maximum flexibility and ergonomics. Sound-absorbing materials are used to ensure good acoustics, and comfortable 24/7 control centre task chairs provide the seating comfort needed for hours of concentrated work. Directly next to the operations centre is the situation centre, which is used by the crisis management team in special and extraordinary situations. This area is equipped with various meeting tables anchored in the floor and an additional large-screen display.
