The internal atrium acts like a lung: as long as the outside temperature is between 15 and 25 degrees, ventilation works via the chimney effect without mechanical air treatment; outside this range it works with heat recovery. Cooling is provided by adiabatic generation with an output of 800 kW.
Some of the 130 workstations in the IT laboratory as well as all 14 workstations in the OCC are additionally cooled with Cool-Top. Certified to Minergie-P-Eco, the building was awarded the Prix Watt d’Or in 2016.
