Thanks to their thermal mass, the exposed concrete ceilings absorb internal loads and make a substantial contribution to energy efficiency over 24 hours. The concept is complemented by adiabatic cooling generation with an output of 200 kW, whose redundant chiller requires no operating hours in normal operation.
Different systems are used depending on the use: Riotherm Convec sill units in the offices, Riotherm Convec underfloor in the catering area on the ground floor, as well as Strata transfer fans integrated into the partition system in elm veneer.
A deep-pile carpet meets the high acoustic requirements. The generous internal stairwell additionally serves as an extract air duct, while the supply air in the core zones is introduced via displacement air outlets.
