For the cooperatively organised TAZ, a new publishing house was created in Berlin-Kreuzberg, which was awarded the BDA prize for sustainability.

Ecological considerations shape the building. The open office floors are planned so that climatic differences between the façade orientations are balanced out and the energy required for cooling and heating with Riotherm remains minimal.
The energy concept combines adiabatic cooling generation with an output of 150 kW with the use of waste heat as well as convective heat and cooling delivery, complemented by Strata transfer fans. On the top floor, several KW25 dry coolers handle the heat rejection.
