The Wiener Netze campus is the nerve centre of the energy supply for Vienna as well as parts of Lower Austria and Burgenland. The energy networks of the region are monitored, inspected and controlled by means of state-of-the-art technology in the three control rooms. These were furnished with modern 24/7 workstations from Erich Keller AG. In addition to the actual control rooms, the crisis team room and a backup control room for special events were also furnished. Apart from the height-adjustable desks for the dispatchers and the crisis team room, Erich Keller AG also manufactured the surrounding furniture with carcasses, plant troughs and large sliding panel systems as well as enclosures and substructures for four large-screen displays, two of which are protected against earthquakes in accordance with damage class CC3/EXC3.
