The new KEBAG Enova in Zuchwil replaces the existing waste incineration plant after around 50 years of operation and is one of the most modern facilities in Europe.

It processes the waste of around 500,000 inhabitants from 176 municipalities in the cantons of Bern and Solothurn. All plant processes are monitored and controlled from the central control room; generous glazing provides a direct view of the process areas.
For the control room, Erich Keller AG supplied eight D-Com workstations. The ergonomic operator positions are designed for 24-hour operation and integrate the extensive monitor and system technology. The dark materials with linoleum surfaces support the architectural concept and create a calm working environment.
