High summer temperatures of over 32 degrees and rising CO₂ levels had impaired teaching. What was needed was a solution that combines cooling and heating efficiently without disrupting ongoing school operations.
The renovation was carried out room by room during the summer months. From the ground floor to the sixth floor, the old radiators were replaced by Riotherm Convec sill units, which are optimised project-specifically and sound-insulated to provide an optimal indoor climate and meet the comfort requirements of SIA 382/1 and SIA 180.
