From the acoustic ceiling in the living room with integrated lighting through bespoke office furnishings and the solid wood bed with a matching wallboard to the television unit, dark oak runs through the rooms. Wall claddings, cupboards and steles are likewise made of dark oak. The open staircase with a room-height stair cupboard, wall rods and glass balustrade thus becomes part of the living space.
The combination of natural stone and oak recurs in the bathroom, in the washbasin unit and dressing table; a free-standing bathtub at the window front and room-height oak steles as a visual screen for the shower define the room. In the living room, a fireplace with niches for firewood and special surfaces forms a one-off piece that radiates heat evenly.
In the kitchen-living space, craftsmanship and technology come together: at its centre stands a striking natural stone kitchen island, to the side a cooking niche that can be closed with pocket doors, and behind it a utility room for storage. Opposite, a run of tall cabinets with illuminated niches, a display case and open shelving structures the space.
