Heating and cooling are handled by vertical, convection-based Riotherm units. At various points, displacement air flows out of the wall and forms a pool of fresh air that spreads into the entrance hall and corridor; transfer fans in walls and doors supply the adjoining rooms. The air movements are barely noticeable and operation is quiet and comfortable.
