blatten schoolhouse, männedorf

A new school building with a functional building concept. The 92 parapet units and acoustic screens made of oak create a cosy atmosphere. 15 vertical parapet-fitted air-conditioning units are installed as wall elements in the singing hall and have acoustically effective fronts. Rio-Therm keeps cool heads in the school building, even on hot days. Even at maximum cooling load, the parapet-fitted air conditioners are not louder than 25 dB(A). The students can therefore count on a pleasant indoor climate all year round without their learning ability being impaired by disturbing background noise.
