Riotherm Adia
Generates cooling through adiabatic evaporation – with water and outside air instead of conventional compression.
Learn moreRiotherm is Erich Keller AG’s modular climate system for demanding buildings. It combines adiabatic cooling generation, water-based room temperature control, stratification-based air exchange, technical waste heat recovery and intelligent system control. For buildings that require a stable indoor climate, lower operating costs and less visible technology.
Buildings are becoming more airtight, better insulated and thermally more demanding. The heating season is getting shorter, internal heat loads are rising and cooling is becoming the central task of modern building services. Cooling is the new heating. The answer to this cannot simply be more technology.
Riotherm follows a different approach: the system applies physical principles consistently and reduces technical complexity to the essentials. Cooling is generated where natural processes work efficiently. Heat and cooling are transported by water. Air is guided as needed. Waste heat is not treated as a problem but understood as a flow of energy.
The result is climate technology that respects architecture, simplifies planning and sustainably improves operation.
Riotherm reduces technical infrastructure where clear physical principles solve the same task more simply. That creates space for architecture and simplifies planning, operation and maintenance.
Evaporation, convection, stratification and heat exchange take on tasks in a targeted way that would otherwise require more technical output. Energy demand and system complexity therefore fall.
Adia, Convec, Strata, X and Ctrl work together. Clear modules form a coordinated climate system – from cooling generation to operational optimisation.
Less Tech has an effect across the life cycle: less energy, less infrastructure and less maintenance effort. Demand-based control and monitoring secure performance in operation.
Riotherm Adia generates up to 50 kWh of usable cooling from 1 kWh of electricity, which corresponds to a seasonal performance factor of 50.
Riotherm Convec cools at 20 °C and heats at 26 °C. Close to room temperature. Efficient to produce.
Riotherm X captures IT waste heat directly at the source and significantly reduces the additional energy demand compared with conventional IT cooling. A PUE of up to 1.1 is thus achieved.
Riotherm combines engineering, building services, an understanding of airflow and precise delivery from Sulgen. Erich Keller AG supports projects from concept through to installation and brings the experience gained in demanding buildings into every new system.
With Riotherm Ctrl this knowledge becomes usable in operation: through monitoring, data, optimisation and clear system responsibility.
