maritime police and shipping control kreuzlingen

The old maritime police and shipping control building, both services of the Thurgau cantonal police, was bursting at the seams and had to be extended. Following the comprehensive renovation and extension of the office building, there are now additional offices, sanitary facilities, a separate staff entrance and a recreation room with a separate kitchen in addition to the checkrooms. Space has also been created for new building services and a lift.

Maximum indoor climate comfort

Heating and cooling is provided by vertical, convective Rio-Therm units. Fresh air flows out of walls and forms a lake of fresh air that spreads throughout the entrance hall and the corridor. Connector fans in walls and doors provide fresh air for the adjacent treatment rooms. The air movements are hardly noticeable and operation is extremely quiet and comfortable. There is absolutely no requirement for ventilation ducts.
