single-family home in bazenheid

Conversion of a single-family house in Bazenheid. Carefully crafted country house floorboards in oak create a pleasant naturalness throughout the house. The new, open-plan kitchen/living room with handleless fronts, finished in sanded gray-beige lacquer, combined with an oak element matching the color of the floorboards, blends harmoniously into the living ambience. In the living room, a graphite-black wallboard provides contrast. It is attached to a spackled lime plaster wall. Upstairs are the bathroom, dressing room and bedroom. The dressing room´s resin fronts, which feature elegant L-handles, are lava gray. Physical separation in an open floor plan is provided by the furniture by the toilet and the shower wall. Giraffe patterns etched on the glass balance light transmission and privacy. The ceramic surface of the bathroom furniture is equipped with two countertop sinks. A new, large skylight allows natural light to enter the bathroom.
