As part of the new concept for branch offices, the Thurgauer Kantonalbank customer hall in Weinfelden was given a facelift. The design and execution were carried out by Erich Keller AG. The lower partitions of the customer advisory desks were replaced by room dividers made of wooden blades. Depending on the perspective, the slanted position of the floor-to-ceiling blades creates an opening or closing effect for the observer. Large rooms can thus be discreetly divided without creating a massive partition. In the lower half of the room dividers, a sound-absorbing material ensures good acoustics and guarantees privacy during customer meetings. With a reception and an additional consultation zone, a meeting place was created in the middle of the customer hall that conveys a pleasant atmosphere and makes people feel welcome.
