villa in salenstein

This new villa was built in an elevated position with a view of Untersee and the vineyards of the Schloss Arenenberg as well as the Napoleon Museum. Dark stained oak is used throughout the house: From the acoustic ceiling in the living room with skilfully integrated lighting over various bespoke pieces of furniture such as the office furnishings, the solid wood bed with matching wallboard in the bedroom or the television console in the living room. Various wall panelling, cupboards and steles are also made of dark oak.

The staircase is located next to the entrance hall with cloakroom and niches. Thanks to the open-plan architecture, this is part of the living space with its floor-to-ceiling staircase cupboard and open niche as well as its wall bars and glass banister.

The open kitchen combines craftsmanship with innovative technology. In the centre is a striking kitchen island in natural stone. To the side is a kitchenette that can be closed off with sliding doors. Behind it is a reduit that offers additional storage space. Opposite is a tall unit with interesting, illuminated niches and a display cabinet as well as an open-sided shelf towards the living room.

The combination of natural stone and oak is also found in the bathroom with the vanity unit and dressing table. A free-standing bathtub by the window front impresses with its simple elegance. Floor-to-ceiling oak steles in the shower provide privacy. The wallpaper transforms the room into n well-being oasis.

In the living room, the impressive fireplace is an eye-catcher with its exclusive design and high standard of workmanship. It offers the greatest possible view and makes the fireplace a unique piece with refinements such as niches for firewood, combined with unique surfaces, which evenly transfers the heat to the surroundings.

A villa with a harmonious and consistent architecture, whose spatial ideas have been realised consequently and to a high standard in the interior design.
