The Swissgrid Control network control centre is located in Aarau. In 24-hour operation, the operators at the network control centre monitor the Swiss transmission grid and ensure that electricity is transported safely and without interruption and is thus available at all times. Twelve control center desks were installed in an earthquake-proof setup and 2 ceiling-high monitor walls were housed. Erich Keller AG was also commissioned to supply 15 D-Com model sit/stand tables as well as furniture such as sliding panels, drawer carcasses, tall cabinets, a communications table at standing height, etc.
